Here’s “Chained”, the second song to be let go from the xx’s forthcoming sophomore effort, Coexist. The album’s out on September 11 in the U.S. and Canada. September 10 internationally. “Angels” was the first single from the LP, which they have previewed on Conan and during their brief North American tour

Second new Radiohead song ‘Cut a Hole’

Radiohead surprised everyone in Miami tonight by debuting two new songs ‘Identikit’ and the second ‘Cut a Hole’. Ahead of embarking on a World Tour including a headline appearance at this years Coachella festival, it appears the band have some new songs to unleash.

Jay-Z Carnegie Hall

Jay-Z performed his fatherly dedication song “Glory” for the first time in front of a live audience at Carnegie Hall tonight. The event was the first of two intimate charity concerts by Jay-Z with benefits going to United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Jay-Z was backed by a 36 piece orchestra throughout the performance.

Bon Iver Plays SNL


Bon Iver stopped by Saturday Night Live as this weeks musical guest performing the Grammy-nominated ”Holocene” as well as “Beth/Rest”, both from their self-titled record.  Here is the video for “Holocene”

Austin City Limits- Florence & the Machine and Lykke Li

Austin City Limits continues with a double bill featuring Florence and the Machine and Lykke Li.

Florence kicked off with the Ceremonials bonus cut  ”Strangeness and Charm”, followed with Lungs‘ “Cosmic Love” and “What the Water Gave Me”, and closed with the live favorite “Dog Days Are Over”.

For her part, Lykke Li showcased five tracks off her latest LP, Wounded Rhymes, including “Jerome”, “Sadness i a Blessing”, “I Follow Rivers”, “I Know Places”, “Love Out of Lust”, and “Get Some”.
